Chapter 9: Surviving the Deep

The year is 2046, It has been an entire year after the Aliens, now called the Noffers, attacked planet earth, Robert slowly introduced much of the knowledge he has on these aliens to the presidential scientific community, these scientists were smart and knowledgeable but never believed they could be learning these sciences from this old man, the concepts he is teaching are almost fictional but all so true. He shared with them the memory management schemes he used along with his most respected friend SB who passed two decades ago. He shared the financial management they had to organize to hide their spending in these expensive mining businesses, where they were building cities deep under magnetic mountains. He shared how his organization had to acquire several gold mines in multiple countries, the payments to these countries leaders were not in dollars, Robert only insinuated that his involvement in political systems around the globe was a necessity, and not always ethical, and through an elaborate transportation scheme, they were able to add the gold they were extracted from deep under the sea in the millions of tons to their inventory without raising suspicions.

“Are you saying the UFO phenomenon we have been hearing about for over a century was all real?” said the president.

“Well, to a certain extent, we came across some alien built machinery that started our journey towards understanding much of the technologies I was able to use, from strong metals that allowed us to reach deep underwater and not worry about the huge built-up pressures, to powerful engines that allowed us to drill for gold with ease and minimum vibrations and disruptions of the ecosystems of the deep, to sophisticated electronics allowing advanced computations and ingenious storage technologies, allowing our executives to gain access and successfully compete in markets we couldn't dream of. But more importantly, we learned why the Noffers came to our planet” Robert said

The president came loud and clear through the speakers in Robert's control room” So what are those reasons, Robert, you should have started with this?”

“Okay, Mr. President, many leaders before you have denied this type of information, and did whatever they could to discredit any scientist who even suggested the possibility of alien lives, now hear this, the first of their reasons is to save some of their ancestors still hiding on earth, and who nobody suspected the existence, these are supposedly some creatures who lived deep underground somewhere around the Turkish mountains, I didn’t invest any time or effort to look into their existence for fear of exposing what we know of the Noffers, we needed time to prepare, so we focused on what we could control, namely advancing our technologies, and our knowledge of the Noffers technological advances,” said Robert

“I see your logic, and there might be some added value to look into them, but it is now too late, you mentioned “reasons” for their attack, what are they?” said the President.
